Yea, having too much fun playing with my new Kuretake brush pen (and the reason for such a lame comic this time).

Brushe pens require a ton of control, but can get really nice results (n.b.: the above is not to be considered a nice result). It’s not as easy doing lettering (the first line is with the brush pen, the second one is hand-lettered using a digital brush).

I also have to do a better job of scanning it in (higher res, better initial contrast and such). Mostly, I’ve got to draw, draw, draw.
