The critters in the last two panels are pengraffes; well, my idea of one – or two. They from @pengraffe’s twitter account. From a conversation she had with Chris Yates at NEWW last year, I discovered that a pengraffe is a cross between a penguin and a giraffe.
I guess only 4 and 5 need to be worked on…

I thought I had typoed by spelling survivor as surviver. Spell-check didn’t complain (well, the one in gimp, anyway), but it turns out that surviver is a “rare or obsolete” usage. Who knew I was rare? Or obsolete?
