After a friend pointed out that the comic wasn’t showing up on mobile devices, I poked around and found that the Jetpack mobile  theme doesn’t play nice with anything other than vanilla posts. Once disabled, mobile accessible comics are back.

Edit: It fixes google chrome on mobile devices, but not the default android browser or feedly. So, I tried changing themes. Found out that what you see in the theme previewer and what shows up in reality don’t match. Nice work, wordpress -_-.

So, expect the site to look wonky on occasions for the next day or two as I try to tweak the new theme into looking OK without the benefit of having a working previewer.
