Today’s experiment: inking (with real live ink!). The park and statue were done in ink, scanned in and cleaned up — with bleach and a scrub brush. OK, maybe it wasn’t that bad, but I did need to clean up some of the smudged pencil lines that didn’t cleanly erase.
Oh, and the statue is a tip of the hat to K. Beaton. Where else would I get inspiration for such a lovely historical-like figure (whoever it is)?
I’ve got it figured out. The problem’s your pen! If it’s leaving pencil smudges you might wanna think about an upgrade.
I like it though, that’s a cool look, drawn by hand and all.
I’d say it’s the eraser that needs upgrading, but I don’t know of any better than the Staedtler erasers. I guess the artist is what really needs upgrading.
