Blob, P.I., part 8
No ink was harmed in the making of this comic. Too busy experimenting with perspective which is easier in gimp.
Might be some site gyrations – upgrading to WP2.9 and CP2.9.

Nice inkwork there buddy.
Whoa, it must have taken all day to draw all those lines in the robe. Great detail!
And how does gimp make perspectives easier? I’ve used it but only in cheap tawdry ways, never on perspectives.
To make matters worse, I erased and redid the hatching in the first frame. It’s a real pain doing that with a small wacom tablet. The second frame is the one that really pushed me into gimp, a shot from below.
What makes doing perspective easier in gimp is that you can put down your vanishing points and perspective lines on a different layer using a different color and crank the opacity down. I typically use blue on one layer for roughs and green on another layer for perspective when I need it.
Even if I plan on doing a real ink work, I usually rough it in gimp first. Much easier to make changes.
Ah, layers! Like onions and ogres, I get it. Yeah, paintshop has that too. I don’t know anything about drawing or art (as evidenced by my comic, lol) so perspective lines and whatnot I’ll leave to you pros. Thanks for the reply though, I’ll google perspective lines and vanishing points and see if I can blame some of what I do on them.
